Ambrose Treacy College

Ambrose Treacy College, a leading Catholic boys’ school in Indooroopilly, QLD, partnered with Alloyfold to furnish its newly developed Senior School auditorium - a modern, multi-purpose space designed for assemblies, performances and lectures. 

To meet the College’s specific needs for compact, comfortable and functional seating, Alloyfold supplied and installed 203 Viva Seats with fold-out writing tablets, upholstered in Rhombus Black Gray fabric. 

The Viva, a New Zealand-designed auditorium chair, features a gravity-lift mechanism, ergonomic cushioning, and customisation options including seat width, leg types and tablet arms - making it ideal for educational settings. 

Throughout the design and construction phases, Alloyfold worked closely with m3architecture to ensure compliance with spatial constraints, safety standards and the National Construction Code, while also providing tailored layout advice, flexible fabric options and wheelchair-accessible seating solutions. 

The result is a functional, stylish and student-ready auditorium that supports the College’s growing enrolment and educational ambitions.
