One New Zealand Stadium Seats at Te Kaha Chriatchurch
Stadium Seats & RetractableOne New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha is Christchurch's newest and largest multipurpose stadium, opened in April 2026. Alloyfold supplied and installed 25,000 permanent Victory seats across the main bowl, the largest single stadium installation in Alloyfold's history.
The main bowl uses two configurations of the Victory seat: an unupholstered seat across the general spectator areas, and an upholstered seat in the fixed premium sections. The distinctive black and grey kōwhaiwhai pattern across the bowl was designed by local Christchurch artist Morgan Darlison, inspired by the mangōpare (hammerhead shark), representing strength, tenacity, speed, and agility.
The installation was carried out by Oak Tree, a labour hire social enterprise within the Pathway Charitable Group, using a crew of up to 12 workers over a nine-month programme completed in January 2026.
A second contract, arranged directly with Christchurch City Council, covered the supply of mobile retractable seating for the Field Club, fitted with upholstered Victory seats and integrated cup holders.
All profits from this project flow directly to Pathway Trust, which has supported around 200 people every year since 1997 through reintegration programmes, affordable housing, and employment support.
